If the app is running/open, Quit Photo 2 beta Press CMD + Space to bring up spotlight search Paste in ~/Library/Application Support/Affinity Photo 2 Beta/ and click on the Photo 2 Beta folder in the search results Within this folder, delete the MRU.dat file Launch the app again to see if this prevents this connection error while working offline.
