I cant read the help files easily as they are to small.
changing the font size in win11 only half works, as you will see in the attached image, where I ahve exagerated the win settings to super large, but certain parts of affinity are still to tiny to read.
Is there something I am missing, please help me.image.thumb.png.98cf852231a48098700237de1897aab0.png

@derrickmg1, welcome to the forums :)

In regard to the Affinity apps UI, not much can be done. There's been numerous complaints about this.

The Help File, however can be made readable by using the common keyboard shortcuts for zooming in your browsers. I think the most common for Windows, is CTL and the + to zoom in, - to zoom out. Then CTL + 0 to reset to 100%.

I use Ctrl+MouseWheel to zoom into the Help file text to make it readable.

As a new member, @derrickmg1 may be interested in the long history of problems people have using the minuscule text and icons hardcoded into Affinity. Changing the Windows font size is a partial solution for some text, depending on whether you use display scaling (undesirable) or accessiblity scaling. The latter at least scales those items in the Affinity UI that use the system fonts.

The most recent thread on the topic provides links to older threads.

See

including my post in that thread with links to earlier helpful threads.

It has been frequently said that Affinity2 made all the user interface problems much worse.

I use Help with Chrome, for V1 it's in
C:/Program Files/Affinity/Photo/PhotoHelp/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/index.html

Here's the Chrome view after pressing F11 and zooming to 150%

Here's the built-in F1 version zoomed up until the left frame is lost then zoomed back one click with the mouse wheel

Advantage of viewing in the browser is that search results are placed in the left frame and can be easily viewed. Searching in the built-in version plonks the results in the main frame so the list is lost when one is clicked. Ok you can back arrow but it's more effort

Finding the help files with an msix installation is a bit more involved and the location will probably change with every update, I haven't used the msi installation but expect that it's similar to V1
