Godlessape Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 I created a custom palette in Affinty 2 on my ipad. I exported it to my mac and imported it as an application palette into affinty for mac and worked on some files. Now I reopen affintiy on my mac a week or so later to continue and the palette is gone, but when I try to import it again it wont recognise the file? I mean; I hit "import palette" I see the palette (.afpalette 2) in my download folder but its greyed out/not-selectable. What am I missing? Quote

Godlessape Posted March 10, 2023 Author Posted March 10, 2023 So I open affinity this morning and find the palette I imported (again) as an application palette is not available in Palettes....doesnt an application palette mean it stays in the app? I shouldnt have to import it every time I need it? Is it another setting I need to change? Quote
walt.farrell Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Yes, an Application palette should remain after you import it. Did you close the application properly after the import? If it crashed, or if you shutdown the OS without closing the application that could cause problems. Godlessape Posted March 10, 2023 Author Posted March 10, 2023 Ah! Ok, the power tripped yesterday - and I live in South Africa with loadshedding so that could've been the issue last time too. As usual Walt; the voice of clear and unfettered wisdom! walt.farrell 1 Quote
