Willem Pirquin
Today I was thinking about a totally non-essential function, but a very nice-to-have that seems very possible to me. I think it would be great if we where able to make time-lapse making-of video's of our work directly in Affinity. Since there is an unlimited history, it should be possible to write a script that returns one step and writes the image to a folder for every step in the history-list. Then it's only a matter of stitching these images together in reverse-order as a .mov and there you have your timelapse-movie. The second part can even be done in Automator as long as we would be able to generate the png-sequence. See: http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/70224/automating-quicktime-image-sequence-creation-in-mountain-lion I know this is not an essential task at all, but I think it would be great to be able to show the world how we do things in Affinity. Having this function could generate considerably more buzz online. Anyway, I hope you like the idea! anon1
Pierrick
Agree. The unlimited history is fantastic for making offs. Another way to do it: 1/ Quicktime > New Screen Recording 2/ Go to the beginning of your history 3/ Hold ⇧⌘Z all the way back. Voilà! Direct to video. SFO
+1 from me, also had this idea in mind, when I saw the document history. A replay functionality where I can set a delay to switch from step to step (history entry) would be great!
