NotMyFault Posted March 6, 2023 Posted March 6, 2023 Hi, a have a not too complex file with symbols and live perspective filter. Unfortunately Photo 2 always crashes when editing the perspective filter, trying to move the nodes to the edge of the canvas. I saved the file in one of the last steps, now Photo crashes when opening the file (V3). V2 is a few steps before crash. The issue is not this file alone - the crashes start always even in my third attempt to create this file from scratch, only using a jpeg file as bitmap fill. This file tries to do a stepwise reconstruction of a 9-slice image required lots of symbols and perspective filters, approach is described here: nine slice areal V3.afphoto nine slice areal V2.afphoto Affinity Photo 2-2023-03-06-134157.ips Affinity Photo 2-2023-03-06-134527.ips Affinity Designer 2 Beta-2023-03-05-225107.ips Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. NotMyFault Posted March 6, 2023 Author Posted March 6, 2023 The crash occurs after opening, just switch to move tool and double click at the tile in 2-3 o'clock position. Staff Lee D Posted March 8, 2023 Staff Posted March 8, 2023 So far the files aren't causing any crashes for me and the crash reports aren't really providing further insight. Have you hardware acceleration turned off? any other steps I might e missing. Quote
