My Proposal is DUE TODAY!!!! Affinity Publisher file won't open, crashes.

I have a proposal due TODAY and the Apublisher file keeps crashing whenever I attempt to open it. I need help ASAP. The crash report is attached. Here is dropbox link to the file.

Welcome to the forums.

This file is opening fine for me, which suggests it's one of the links to your files that's causing the crash on your end.

There was a file which had a link to the root of dropbox which I've removed (this was your front cover).

If this still crashes on open for you, I would advise to rename the CARTERDEVGROUP folder in your dropbox. This will "break" all the links so they load as missing (so it's in a similar state to my machine which is opening the file). If you then re-link all the files to the renamed folder your document should look the same as before and hopefully be fixed

In the future, is that something i can do if I had that problem again.

We think that we have a work around in the latest 2.1 beta. The file should have not crashed for you even in that state. (Click here to join the customer beta )

As to the cause of the broken Dropbox file path, I don't know if we have found a recipe to create that, so as far as I know it can still occur. However a document in that state would load as missing in 2.1.0.x (is my understanding).
