Hangman Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 I saw in the Bug Fix List that on Windows the Character Panel has a New Tabbing Order, however on Mac in .1713 you can only use the tab key for the first four options, the fourth tab removes focus instead of tabbing to the fifth 'Shear' option and the sixth tab reverts to Toggle UI... ronnyb 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 Affinity Designer 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Photo 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Publisher 2.6.2 (3213) Beta MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

I can't duplicate this on Ventura, I can tab between all 7 fields in Character > Positioning and Transform. ronnyb Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 I logged this bug back in some 1.x version… this is an issue that needs to be looked at in EVERY studio panel…. Totally agree, I'm only logging it here as there's been a change between 2.0.4 and 2.1.0.1703 in terms of tabbing in the Character panel... ronnyb 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 Affinity Designer 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Photo 2.6.2 (3213) Beta | Affinity Publisher 2.6.2 (3213) Beta MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse

Thanks Mike, I wonder if this is again OS specific, hopefully someone else running Monterey can give this a whirl to see if they are experiencing the same issue... I'm just about to make a second post re the click drag function for changing settings no longer working at all in .1713 so would be interested to hear if this is or isn't working in Ventura... Old Bruce Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Seems to work only in the forward motion here on Mac OS 11.7. Shift + Tab just sits there like a lump. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Staff Chris B Posted March 28, 2023 Staff Posted March 28, 2023 I do think this area needs a bit of an overhaul. There are quite a few tabbing order issues already logged. I'll feed this back - thanks. ronnyb and woefi 2 Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
