Monterey to Ventura on Mac - just checking!

I am going to do a standard ‘over the top’ update as above. I am running the latest version of the Affinity Photo. Do I need to do anything - apart from backing up first - such as -

Deregister?

Any thing else I need to be aware of?

There is nothing specific to Affinity that you need to do when upgrading from Monterey to Ventura.
