I'm having serious issues with Publisher 2. It runs so slowly, and that's been bugging me for weeks.

Today I finally completed my 24 page illustrated booklet but it won't export!

The preview won't load so I go ahead and click export anyway. Then that blue bar start creeping, and then nothing. I left it for half an hour earlier. Always nothing. And when I cancel it, it either crashes immediately, or I try and close the programme and it tells me the document needs to be saved. But then of course it doesn't even save.

This is infuriating. I need to export this to get it printed. Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks.

Hi Needleswift,

its hard to say why this might be happening without seeing a copy of the file and its contents I'm afraid. If possible please could you upload a copy of the file to the following DropBox link so I can look into this further with you. Are you trying to export locally or to a network drive etc? If you have embedded images in your file it may be worth removing and then re-adding them to see if this allows you to export. Please could you also tell me which export settings you are using for your PDF in Affinity?

Thanks
