How to adjust individual word Leading in a textbox?

May I know how can you adjust the Leading for just one row or word in a textbox, without the whole text box being affected?

Select / place cursor in a line of text. To alter leading above this line, use Character Tab, Positioning and Transform, Leading Override. – Basically, what you are showing in your screen shot.

If this isn't working, it could be that you've used the Leading Override to adjust the whole text box. Leading Override should only be used for individual lines of text. To adjust leading in a text box, use the normal Paragraph Leading setting in the context toolbar.

There could be other reasons for it not working, too. But we would need more information or we would just have to guess. Knowing which application you're using would help, for example. As well as having a screenshot of the complete application window. And a sample document would be ideal.

Oh ok thanks @PaulECfor the explanation! Didn't realise it works bit different from AI. There is no shortcut for Leading Override is that correct?  Cos merely highlighting a word with ALT+ up/down would help set the Leading for individual words or rows.
