placed vs actual DPI

I'm creating a family history book. All my images are 460 dpi but the placed value is much less. I'm using Lulu to publish this book and they won't accept the pdf because the images are below 200. How do I correct that??? V

If you click them into position they should be placed at their native resolution, but if you drag them out to anything larger than their native dimensions you’ll spread the original pixels over a larger area and the resolution will decrease.
