Pen Tool Handles Disapearing when dragging on to toolbars

Hi, 

For some reason when you click down with the Pen Tool and hold to align / change size of new point the handles/new curve disapear when you drag your mouse on to any of the toolbars?

Thanks for this, i've logged this as a bug.

This is by design. The view will auto-pan (and in doing so hide the tool) when dragging gets close to the screen edges. After a short pause/wait the handles should return by themselves.

Would it be possible to add a setting option to turn this behavior off? The main reason is that it takes a while for them to show up again / you have to stop your mouse which is a bit inconvenient as it slows you down
