Mr Sinister Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 AD2 / AD2 Beta. Mac OS. Imagine I have created the outline of a human figure using the vector pen tool. Hmm … I’d prefer the arms to be more ‘out to the sides’. I drag the Node tool to ‘grab’ all the nodes in one of the arms. Now, I can drag that selection all over the canvas, but it would lovely if I could also rotate the arm. Thing is, I can’t find a way to go this. Oh, I can rotate the selection left & right, but what I want is to be able to rotate a given number of degrees cw / ccw, either by dragging something, or typing a value into something. Is this a thing?? Quote

That draws a bounding box and transform handles around selected nodes, and then the Transform panel can also be used for rotating and shearing in addition to always being usable for translating and scaling. There is an adjacent button for Enable Transform Origin. However, the TO is buggy in 2.0.4 and 2.1.0 beta, with its location becoming offset when transforms are performed. The TO behaves correctly in In 1.10.6. Quote
