user_0815 Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 Not sure whether I am missing something here. When rasterising an image layer which is wider than the current document / cnavas, then it cuts off whatever is outside the canvas. (Photo 2.0.4) Is that the correct behaviour? I thought that the layer should only be trimmed if I use "Rasterise and trim". Quote
Staff MEB Posted February 24, 2023 Staff Posted February 24, 2023 Hi @user_0815, No, it should not trim if you selected Rasterise. Can you attach the document that's doing it for you please? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
user_0815 Posted February 24, 2023 Author Posted February 24, 2023 For example it happens when rasterising the image layer IMGP7131.tif. rasterise.mov Test-Datei.afphoto.zip Quote

If my memory serves me well (which most probably does not) rasterising was always trimming. Staff MEB Posted February 24, 2023 Staff Posted February 24, 2023 Hi @user_0815, It's being caused by the Live Procedural Texture filter. If you delete the filter layer it behaves as expected. I'm logging this to be looked at. Thanks for raising the issue.@Seneca Only in the first versions. That behaviour was changed when we added the Rasterise & Trim command. user_0815 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
