@THECREX, welcome to the forums...

Could you upload the Affinity Designer file so we can take a look at what might be causing the issue when exporting the file to pdf?

@THECREX, as @Komatös mentions above, there seems to be an issue with that particular brush, it exports correctly when rasterised but not when used as a vector brush. Could you let us know the specific brush you used, maybe upload a screengrab of the brush in the specific brush palette...

Hi @THECREX,

Thanks for your report!

I can confirm this is occurring as the Line Style is currently set to Solid Line Style, whereas it should be set to Textured Line Style.

This is unfortunately a known bug, whereby if the stroke has pressure applied as a Solid Line Style, switching to Textured Line Style (ie by applying a vector brush) and then switching back to Solid Line Style manually causes the stroke to be rendered incorrectly, until it is exported.

I will be sure to 'bump' the development report with your thread to bring this to our developers attention once again.

If you open your document, select the curve and then change this to Textured Line Style (as shown below), this should then export correctly using the PDF (for export) preset, as well as other formats such as EPS, SVG etc.

I hope this helps!
