MCFC_4Heatons Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 If you apply a warp effect to an element then apply a layer effect afterwards the layer effect is notapplied correctly. THe lame workaround is to always remember to apply the layer effect first which not good or always possible. Quote
Staff NathanC Posted February 24, 2023 Staff Posted February 24, 2023 Hey @MCFC_4Heatons, Currently, applying a FX to a warp group constrains the FX to the original shape bounds rather than the entire warp group, this issue is currently logged with the developers, so I've bumped it with your report. As a workaround, you can still apply FX to an object in a warp group so long as you only have the object in the group selected, rather than the warp group itself. Quote
MCFC_4Heatons Posted March 2, 2023 Author Posted March 2, 2023 the workaorund I found was after applying the warp effect to convert to curves, this can be an issue and play havoc with workflow though or if you may want to go about and tweak the warp effect. Quote
DarkClown Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 @NathanC Seems like you have little influence on serif developers ... maybe you could "bump" this again after 1,5years ..
