I love your product. I'm sticking with you. However, Affinity Photo V2 appears to have some annoying glitches.

1. Crop lines become visible as single pixel lines on my pasted pages. This does not happen on Adobe Photoshop so I assume it is a bug.

2. Frequently, the cursor will change from a paint bucket to a pointer randomly. Or a circle outline on a paintbruch will disappear randomly.

3. I have crashed my computer by opening a file in Affinity with a right click on the directory, selecting Affinity to open.

I hope you will repair these problems soon. Thank you.

BTW: I am using the latest Mac Mini.

Welcome to the forums !

You pressed CAPS - LOCK whilst painting, this is a new feature in V2.

That's likely because the pasted layers are not properly aligned to the absolute pixel grid, i.e. their size or position is not integer pixels.
More info e.g. in these threads: forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&q=pixel align&quick=1&search_and_or=and&sortby=relevancy

Because PS handles pixel layers differently.
In Affinity, all layers incl. pixels are essentially "smart" layers, hence "misalignment" is always possible, be it intentionally or accidentally.
Make sure Force Pixel Alignment is always enabled (and "Move By Whole Pixels" is disabled, even though it may appear counterintuitive!)

There are some related and still unresolved bugs, but they affect primarily Publisher and multi-page layout documents, as well as documents with bleed (unless the bleed was initially created using integer pixel values). Frankly, it's a complex thing… :/

You may want to upload an example document that we can look at.

Please upload the crash log so that the Serif staff can analyze it.
