MaxClass Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 Version 1 always had unique icons that showed up when selecting any of the built in “Special Characters” in the Find Studio Version 2.1.0.1709 no longer displays an icon for the following selections not letting you visually see something to “Find”. Without something showing you have no idea visually if there is actually anything in the “Find” text field. Odd and Even Page Breaks show identical icons. should probably be unique. MikeTO Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 I'm seeing the same problem but the bug is also in 2.0.4 and not just in the 2.1 beta. Perhaps when this is being reviewed Serif could also review another issue with this. If I insert a character such as NBSP into F&R using the panel's shortcut menu, it shows a special character symbol (or it did until his bug crept in). But if I copy that same NBSP character from a text frame and paste it into F&R, it did not show the special character symbol. This v1 screenshot has an em space (typed), an em space (chosen from the shortcuts menu), a NBSP (typed), and finally a NBSP (chosen from the menu). 19 minutes ago, MaxClass said: Odd and Even Page Breaks show identical icons. should probably be unique. And they're identical to the regular Page Break, too, but it's always been this way. Staff Sean P Posted February 27, 2023 Staff Posted February 27, 2023 Hi MaxClass, Thanks for letting us know - I've reproduced this and logged it. I'm currently checking what should happen here with development and see if this is possible. Quote
