Hi,

 

All grids are off centred in all 3 planes front / side / top and create object placement issues when using snapping + grids.

(dimetric grid used in screenshots)

Issue is the same with artboard or not.

This may have nothing to do with this problem, (I don't use grids very often,) but I'm wondering if this is due to the grid origin, which seems to default to top left (rather than the centre). If the grid size doesn't fit the document size exactly, it won't be centred, but can be adjusted using the editing handles.

Hi Outliers.ark,

This is By Design. By default the grid origin is placed in the top left of your document. However it can be moved by going into Grid and Snapping Axis and enabling 'Show axis editingn handles' and then snap that to the center of your page (or your guides wherever they may be). 

The guide will then originate from that point.
