Simple enough operation that I'm sure is addressed somewhere, but I've searched unsuccessfully. I have text that, when reformatted, took up fewer text frames than it did initially. I'd now like to start new text in the remaining empty frame, but I don't want it part of the preceding text flow.

Can anyone tell me how to disconnect those two frames (and where I should have found the answer if I'd been more diligent)?

Thanks.

Thanks so much. I picked the wrong topic, obviously—"flowing text through frames"—and missed the linking line just below it. Even with the straightforward instruction once I read it, I had to practice a few times.

It’s not the most obvious procedure and one I invariably end up having to Google.

Your sympathy's much appreciated. Now to go find the next easily solvable problem I'll need the forum's help with . . .
