Hi, this may have already been raised and if so could you be so kind as to link me to the chat that covers this. I try and get the updates via the Affinity Photo 2 and the following comment comes up and I cannot access the upgrades.

Affinity Photo 2 can’t be updated if it’s running from the location it was downloaded to.

Any advice would be appreciated.

What OS are you using?

If Mac, are you perhaps running it from the DMG rather than actually installing it by dragging it to the Applications folder?

Sorry for the delay, I relied on notifications and this didn't come through.

I am running Ventura 13.2.1 and ahhhhh you might have solved it.  The application loaded on the dock is the one I am having and issue with but reading between the your lines I now opened it from the Launchpad and it is the updated version.  Thank you Walt, your a star.
