Nuge172
Sorry for the total newbie question - just trying to feel my way around AD and the best way to create a simple Arc shape. Pen tool or start with a circle shape and slice a portion? Thank you
Madame
Hi. Try the donut shape. In the context toolbar you can change the angles and the hole. Nuge172
Thanks for the idea, I hadn't thought of that. I was trying to figure out how to take a circle shap and bisect using any two points. Seems like I'm missing some fundamental technique to make that happen. But the donut actually worked great for what I needed. Is there a way to bisect a circle shape in to two arcs?
Madame
Yes, there is the boolean method, but I think it's a lot of unnecessary work in this case. I'm no expert though, so if anyone want to chime in.. feel free. There are several roads to Rome. ;) I recommend to take a look at the tutorials about boolean methods. https://vimeo.com/110131937 Nuge172 1 Quote - Affinity Photo 2.3.0 - Affinity Designer 2.3.0 -Affinity Publisher 2.3.0 MacBook Pro 16 GB MacOS Sonoma 14.1.
