Dotted Lines To Shapes

I'm currently trying to make a vector design in Designer laser cut friendly (Trotec Ruby). The laser software doesn't like dotted lines i've created in the Stroke tool.

Is there a way to convert the dots on the dotted lines into individual shapes (which hopefully the laser software can see)

Has anyone had any experience with using Designer for laser designs?

Use Layer > Expand Stroke on your selected (with the Move tool) "dotted line".
