Steineklopfer Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 I'm working with 2.0.4 on MacOS 13.1 Having a multilayer file with a fixed canvas size that I imported from a psd file. The individual layers are larger. Now it shows fine within the program. However, once I'm exporting (in my case to GIF), the final file is not cropped. Instead it seems that it is strangely resized to fit the canvas. I tried cropping in the program or merging layers. Didn't help. Somehow the export it still strangely resized, leaving some transparent areas. Quote
Komatös Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Hi @Steineklopfer The only quick solution I can think of is to merge the layers and then rasterize before exporting the file. Hangman Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 @Steineklopfer, are you able to upload the file so we can take a quick look, it should be perfectly possible to achieve what you need but without seeing the file it's difficult to know what's causing the issue. Steineklopfer Posted February 11, 2023 Author Posted February 11, 2023 I attached the basic files. Not all layers are included, but the problem is visible. test.afphoto Quote
Hangman Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 @Steineklopfer, I can only assume somewhere along the line this is a pixel alignment issue, maybe in the source Photoshop file, I'm not sure... The document is 640 px x 33 px @ 72dpi. If you simply create a new document in Photo at exactly the same size and then copy and paste the graphics from your source Photo Document to your newly created document it then exports correctly as a GIF file without the 1 px transparent border...
