ItsMe.User Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 There seems to be a bug (costet me 4 hrs to find out...): If creating a "mail-to-link" in Affinity designer, specifing the mailaddress (in the box shown after selecting type "E-Mail") as "someone@test.com?subject=This should be the mail subject" an export of the file as pdf (in export dialog selecting "with hyperlinks", of course) fails (preview "hangs" and doesn't show up). Solution is to remove the spaces/blanks in the subject, like "someone@test.com?subject=This_should_be_the_mail_subject" . Does not look nice in the mail (if link is clicked in exported pdf), but works. That behaviour should be fixed by Affinity. Quote
MikeTO Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Hi @ItsMe.User and welcome to the forums. I duplicated the problem in Publisher 2.0.4. I think you meant Publisher and not Designer. There is a known bug in this version with leading and trailing spaces causing this error. It's fixed in the 2.1 beta but in doing so it's no longer possible to add a subject at all. I'll report that as a bug now so hopefully it will be fixed before the release of 2.1. laurent32 Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 How about escaping the space character ? Something like "\ " ? Or using a unicode for space ?
