Calvert Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 If I create a file within AD and save as a .pdf and reopen the same file in AD or Ai, both have garbled up font. If I create or edit the file in Ai, or Flexi, then save it as pdf, everything is FINE. Even windows has NO issue with the font. Affinity Design is THE ONLY program having issue with the font Chopin Script. I verified that the font is ok everywhere else and is not corrupt. walt.farrell Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Do you have both of those font files (.ttf, .otf) installed? If so, that might contribute to the problem. You should only install one of them. kenmcd Posted February 8, 2023 Posted February 8, 2023 I installed only the OTF font, then exported to PDF, and then opened the PDF in AD2 - and it looked fine. You cannot have both the OTF and TTF fonts installed. Even though they have slightly different font names - one with a space and one without - the PostScript Name is still the same in both of them (not renamed properly). So I renamed the OTF font properly, and used it in the doc, exported to PDF, and then opened the PDF in AD2 - the result is below. Looks fine. Here is the renamed font: ChopinScriptAD.zip Un-install the other fonts and give that a try. Quote
