[2.0.4] Inconsistent response to shift-clicking a mask-nested object's thumbnail in a folded row of Layers panel

AP 2.0.4, AD 2.0.4, APub 2.0.4

macOS 12.6.3

A folded row in the Layers panel can present up to three additional thumbnails of mask-nested objects such as Pixel Masks, Vector Masks, Adjustments and Filters.

Shift-clicking on such a thumbnail will usefully toggle the visibility of the nested object in the case of a Pixel Mask or an Adjustment, but not in the case of a Vector Mask or a Filter.

The lack of response to shift-clicking a Vector Mask or Filter thumbnail feels like a bug or oversight.

Hi,

Shift click is offered as a quick alternative to the visibility toggle button when collapsed because there is no specific visibility toggle for the mask anymore, as that one now toggles the parent. When expanded you can then use the mask objects visibility toggle so the shift click function is no longer necessary.

You're missing the point.

@Serif, can I have an acknowledgement of the bug, please?

The bug is an inconvenient regression from the functionality in version 1.x.
