Ivan C Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 I work with a lot of linked files. Every time I modify a linked file I get this error (see image). Then I have to do a "save as" to not lose the work because some times I get a crash or I can't save the document. Every time I have to modify a linked file I have to first close Publisher, modifify the Deisgner file, than reopen the Publisher file, and so on. File-corrupted.afdesign File-corrupted.afpub Quote

Internal drive, External Drive, Network, NAS, cloud service, USB drive etc PS your attached documents work OK for me. Modifying the linked file seems to work just fine in a quick test Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Ivan C Posted February 13, 2023 Author Posted February 13, 2023 @walt.farrell @carl123 I create some files in Designer. Then I import those files in Publisher as linked files. Then at some point I need to modifiy a file so I open the file with Designer, modify somenthing and save. When I save and come back to Publisher I get the error message. The files are stored in a Synology NAS but I tried also with files on the desktop and I have the same problem. walt.farrell 1 Quote
