romendo Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 When opening a photo created in Affinity Photo v1 (which might not matter) I see lots of artifacts after I start zooming in and then out. I tried disabling hardware acceleration (GTX 960, Windows 10) but that makes the issue even worse. The same photo works fine in Affinity Photo v1. The same issue occurs when exporting it to JPG, which is where I first saw this issue. Quote
romendo Posted February 5, 2023 Author Posted February 5, 2023 I think this might be related to the size of the photo. It happens with two photos that are about 1.8 GB. Another one with 1.2 GB does not show this issue. These are panoramas with up to 184 MP. Quote
Staff Callum Posted February 7, 2023 Staff Posted February 7, 2023 Hi Romendo, Welcome to the forums Please could you provide a copy of the image so I can look into this further with you? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
romendo Posted February 7, 2023 Author Posted February 7, 2023 I found what causes this behaviour. It is the bilateral blur that I am using. Changing the radius causes the effect to show up. I have attached my photo. Z7001738.afphoto Quote
