Text stroke problem for text placed in a frame from a master page.

I think it should be possible to stroke text in a regular page when the text had been added to a text frame defined on a master page. Right now it does not work.

Weird that it doesn't. Double weird that I hadn't noticed that we couldn't do this as well all the way back in version 1.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hey @artserv,

I can't see a reason why this would be by design, particularly since on Windows it's possible to change the colour of the outline/stroke but it's not possible on Mac without detaching first, which is inconsistent.

Therefore, I've logged this with the developers for further investigation and judgement.

The issue "Text outline width cannot be adjusted on text on text frames that have been created on a master page" (REF: AFB-7398) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.1.0.1720".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
