jeffers Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Is there a way of not showing the heading for a topic from certain forum members? I have marked to ignore content from a member but when I look in my unread topics in a sub section and he/she has posted a new post it is there in bold. OK, opening it doesn't show any content but I would like to not see anything at all not even the topic header. Quote
David in Яuislip Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 I've just ignored you but the topic still shows. I am now attempting to respond to an ignored post, we'll see what happens Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
jeffers Posted February 2, 2023 Author Posted February 2, 2023 Yes the topic shows and that's the part I'd like hidden. Just an irritant for me pertaining to a certain regular poster. Maybe it's not such a big deal and I should not make a thing of it. Quote
thomaso Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 According to the forum of the forum software developers it doesn't work as you expect. But there appears to be a plug-in which seems to hide everything related to a member: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/459206-hide-ignored-content-completly/ firstdefence 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1
jeffers Posted February 3, 2023 Author Posted February 3, 2023 Thanks that would appear to be a solution. But $15....I'll suffer my irritation for a while longer. Quote

It is probably something Serif would have to install, not something a user can install. thomaso 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
