Excuse me if there are another topic on it, I couldn´t find it on the forum.

I having a long problem with:
1) Selections in pixel persona: when I do a cross selection (polygonal or lasso) it dislocates to top left.
2) Color Pick Tool (i): when I pick a color, it appear as foreground (above) at Tools Menu. But when I select the Brush tool, it goes do Backgroun color. So I must go and change again.

My Affinity Designer Version is 1.10.6.1665

1. Probably a known issue where pixel selections shift up and left but the amount of the Bleed defined for the document. Workaround: remove the Bleed temporarily.

2. I think that's just the way it works. You need to choose the Brush Tool, then choose the color. Or swap the color once you choose the tool. You can try X as a shortcut.

Thanks my friend.
Question 1 worked with this workaround, thanks.

About question 2, the X shortcut help a little, but I don´t know how to pick color with the Brush tool (in Adobe is possible using the "i" shortcut). So, I must use the Picker to select a color, anyway.
There´s another point here: sometimes is not only this problem of foreground/background alternance bug, this two palletes turn into fill/stroke layout too.

But, thanks for your help. I´m tryig to improve the tool, but as I know, they won´t focus more on the v.1 (which I think is denying the previous marketing discourse about free upgrades forever).

Try pressing Alt and clicking the mouse to have the brush tool pick a color.

It works! I did try it before, but as the cursor don´t changes to picker, I thought it was not the right way but it is.

Thank you so much.

You're welcome. Also, try checking the Status Bar for hints about how the various tools work, and what their modifiers will do.
