Hoby Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Open a non-Photo file in Photo, like a jpeg. Edit the file in a way that it needs to be saved as .afphoto file. Choose Save or do Command-S. Attempt to save the file in a folder. Expected: File saves Actual: Affinity Photo freezes, requiring a force quit. Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 At step 3 you should have gotten a prompt (if, as you say, it requires saving a .afphoto file)? Do you get it? If so, how did you respond to it. After that you should get the dialog to choose the folder as part of step 4. Do you get it? If so, where are you choosing to Save the file? A local disk? A network disk? USB Stick? Other? Trying to save on a the local disk, for example the downloads folder. What I've been doing since I found this bug is looking to see if I've already saved it as an .afphoto file (up in the name area, I don't see a file extension) and if I haven't—always making sure to choose "Save as...", which hasn't ever frozen the app on me. walt.farrell 1 Quote
