Is there a way to retrieve textual image metadata in Publisher 2?

Hi, I hope I have this question about Publisher 2 in the correct place.

Is there a way to retrieve textual image metadata such as Description, and then put in in a text frame (e.g., as a caption for the image) in Publisher 2, please?

I have a lot of images, and would prefer to avoid doing this by a mechanism like copy and paste; an automated mechanism would also enable me to update the data in the image, and have it flow through into the Publisher 2 document automatically.
