md_germany Posted January 31, 2023 Share Posted January 31, 2023 it is possible to set an object rotated by 35 degrees, for example, to zero. A simple example: I rotate a rectangle by 35 degrees. Now I want to make a text frame out of it and I don't want the font to be skewed. So now I would have to say you are not rotated, the way you are standing is zero degrees. GarryP Posted January 31, 2023 Share Posted January 31, 2023 (edited) The easiest way that I know of is to select the shape and then use Geometry Add on that layer (via a menu or the Toolbar). Note: To get the original rotation back you will need to rotate backwards by the exact same amount; the layer does not ‘remember’ how it was rotated once you do this. Note: It might be difficult to get the text nicely centred in such a rotated shape, so you might want to use two layers: one rotated shape and an Artistic Text layer.
