Designer1 Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Text on paths cannot be scaled proportionally. When the path is reduced, e.g. a circular path, the text becomes larger and when it is enlarged, the text becomes smaller. Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 You should see two handles on the lower right of the object's bounding box. The one that is not attached to the frame is the rescaling handle. Dragging that one will rescale the object and any text proportionately. How can I set an exact value such as 10 cm? Quote

Other than watching the Transform panel while dragging the handle, I'm not sure. Good question. GRAFKOM Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 You have to click on this seemingly inactive button, and from now on you can enter in the transformation panel - 10cm and the text on the path will increase proportionally. Old Bruce, Designer1 and walt.farrell 3 Quote
Old Bruce Posted February 2, 2023 Posted February 2, 2023 Thanks for reminding me of that feature @GRAFKOM. I saw it when I first upgraded and thought "This will be so useful." And then I promptly forgot about it, wish I remembered about it a couple of days ago.
