Cannot change brush stroke in Affinity Designer

Hello, 

 

I don't know if this is a bug or just something I accidently activated, but I cannot change my brush in designer. I've tried updating A.D, clicking on other brushes in the panel menu, I changed layers/overlays, and restarting the app multiple times. 

I was drawing something fine and then all the sudden I when I created new layer I could ONLY use the default circle brush. Clicking the other brushes does nothing.

My only theory now is that sometimes the "Wet Brushes" messes up with my brush tool, but I cannot find that section were you uncheck the box. Is there a way to see that menu?

What Persona are you having this problem, Designer or Pixel? The brushes are different for each.

Wet Edges setting is found on the context toolbar for brushes used in the Pixel Persona. There's also a setting, Protect Alpha, which sounds like what is messing with you.

Hi thanks for the response. I am talking about the Designer Persona. I think I was mistaken, I thought the wet edges was on the designer persona not pixel...

Still, both were unchecked and I still cannot switch brushes within the Designer Persona.

Okay I fixed it actually, I hit the button "Revert Defaults" in the top left. If something comes up again I was post it here, but thank you anyway.
