Would be nice if flood fill tool could select and apply a colour from the visible pixels under the paint can, to the current selection or selected layer.

If the paint can is not over the the current selection or layer, it would behave as a colour picker, when over the current selection, a  long press could allow colour selection in a similar manner to the way the paint brush can select a colour.

It should behave just like the Brush tool: option-drag to pick color

I meant "it should" as in: it doesn't but it would be nice if it would.
