Hi

In Affinity Designer 2, for example when dragging with shift for straight line, it acts like "edit in plane" is turned on, even when it's turned off. Also snapping turned off.
Done recent update as well.

Hi Darner,

The Shift Key will constrain your curves to 45deg angles whilst dragging, so it sounds like the results you're getting are to be expected.

If I have misunderstood this could you attach a video that demonstrates the problem you're seeing please?

Hi.
Holding shift in isometric with edit in plane off and on in videos.
Can see that it does not snap on straight line unfortunately as would probably be expected.
Makes sense?

Hi Darner,

This is to be expected, the Orientation of your grid and snapping cube is set to 47.7deg, so will have an ever so slight angle to it. If you set the orientation to 45deg and then set Horizontal axis to 'Add for snapping' you will be able to snap along a straight horizontal axis.

Thanks for feedback.
Expected even when "edit in plane" is turned off?
Sometimes snapping is not related to the grid, be nice to have option in the future to snap as normal when "edit in plane" is turned off.
