Digbydo 2 Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 I've seen several shots like the one attached but although I've searched the internet with all sorts of wording I still cannot find a tutorial on how to do it either in Affinity Photo or even in Photoshop. So-ooooh it's a bit of a long shot to ask…does anyone know how its done & if so could you explain the various steps to achieve the end result. TIA (hopefully the book plus the pages are visible) Quote
Old Bruce Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 You'll need a photo of the book and at least one photo of the two pages. More photos of the two pages will give a better result. The two pages should be photographed on a Black background so you can easily select the background and delete it, leaving just the white of the two pages. Now it is just a matter of having the correct layer order. I scaled and rotated the Two Pages.png image. The Book.png has a Black Background. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Lisbon Posted January 29, 2023 Posted January 29, 2023 If I had to guess, I'd say they copied the top two pages onto a separate layer and duplicated that copy multiple times. I used the pen tool to make a selection of the top two pages. Image: Mediamodifier Old Bruce 1 Quote
