leaf707
I can turn off the automatic function to automatic select objects? When the user clicks an object on a layer, layer will automatically switch. Im not used this.
R C-R
I'm not sure what you are asking about. Do you mean what happens with the Move tool active when you click on a layer or something else? Staff MEB Posted February 12, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 12, 2016 Hi leaf707, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) The Layers panel is simply highlighting the object you have selected on canvas. It doesn't switch to another unless you click/select another object (with a few exceptions like adding adjustements layers - they become selected when you create them since you usually want to edit its parameters/sliders immediately). Staff MEB Posted February 12, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 12, 2016 Hi leaf707, No, Affinity doesn't work exactly like Photoshop. Currently there's no way to turn this behaviour off. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Dale
You can lock some layers though, using the padlock icon in the Layers panel, that might help.
