Hi!

What's the best way of importing text
from Open Ofiice Writer
to Affinity Publisher ?

I'm thinking text, style-markup and text-styles.

As an exchange file format probably PDF, other than that copy/paste of text selections and maybe RTF and something which APub supports to import here.

Yes, I guess pdf might be best.
Then copy into a new APub-document maybe and sorting out the styles.

In LibreOffice Writer you can “Save As” as a DOCX file and that’s one of the formats which Publisher has been specifically written to use, quote:
“Affinity Publisher can import text files in Microsoft Word (.docx), Rich Text Format (.rtf) and plain text formats (.txt). Text materials organised in Scrivener can also be imported in the same way as .rtf files.”

I don’t know if OpenOffice Writer can export to DOCX but I would assume so as both LibreOffice and OpenOffice have similar core functionality.
