pano Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Hello, After opening a photo in Affinity Photo v1.6 (1.10.6.1665) I have some white lines artifacts on my images that are persisted when saving Quote
Ron P. Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 That looks like what's been associated with Hardware Acceleration/OpenCL. Go to Preferences>Performance, and uncheck the HA setting, restart AP and see if that helped. Quote Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. pano Posted January 28, 2023 Author Posted January 28, 2023 Hello Ron, Yes, disabling hw acceleration fix the problem, but another arise. Everything get super-slow. I have tried to update my video drivers, but the problem is still there. I'm not using fancy strange video cards, standard intel integrated graphics and nvidia rtx 3060, see attached image. Could I be eligible for a v2 update (I have Photo and Designer) to see if the problem is still there? Thank you Leonardo Quote

Does your system meet these specs? Download the trial version first to see if it will work for you, before buying. pano Posted January 29, 2023 Author Posted January 29, 2023 Yes, my system meet the specs. It's a new laptop i7 12th gen 16gb ddr5. I already tried the trial some time ago and I can't install it again. I had Win 10 and was working fine. Quote
pano Posted February 2, 2023 Author Posted February 2, 2023 In an older version of CaptureOne, there was an OpenCL bug that was causing a similar issue. When they fixed the bug in a newer version, they updated my license for free. I can't open a support ticket here and I can't get the software working as advertised. Not a really good experience. romendo Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 I have similar issue when zooming in and out of a photo. Turning off hardware acceleration makes the problem worse as even initial rendering causes the issue. The artifacts persist in the export as well. Any ideas on how to fix this? It works fine in Affinity Photo v1. Quote
