gcvrsa Posted January 27, 2023 Posted January 27, 2023 Publisher V2 on Win 11 Pro: When I select the text box, the Transform bow shows the correct position of the box relative to the page, but when I select any of the lines, it shows the position relative to the spread. I would like it to show the position relative to the page, the way Adobe InDesign does. Is there a setting for this? I have not been able to discover one. If this is a bug, please fix it. Quote
MikeTO Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Hi @gcvrsa, I've duplicated this bug on macOS, too. The issue is the X coordinate in the Transform panel is shown relative to the spread rather than the page for paths made up only of straight lines, but only when there is more than one page in the facing-pages document. Here's a test document for Serif to illustrate the problem. All of the objects on this page have an X coordinate of 1" regardless of the number of pages in the document except for the straight line which has an X coordinate of 9.5" when there is more than 1 page in the document. Staff stokerg Posted February 24, 2023 Staff Posted February 24, 2023 Hi @gcvrsaand @MikeTO, You should find this has been resolved in the latest beta. @MikeTOI know you already have access to the V2 beta, would you just mind confirming you can no longer replicate this as well? @gcvrsaIf you'd like to check out the beta of V2.1, please see this post and you'll be able to Quote

Confirmed, I can't duplicate this in the 1709 beta. stokerg 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.3, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)
