Clayton King Posted January 24, 2023 Share Posted January 24, 2023 having spent literally decades doing mailmerges in MS Word and a couple of older packages, I find data merge cumbersome at best. That said, when trying to figure out how to do it, I rely on the instructions from Publisher. However, they are wrong. The instructions at https://affinity.help/publisher/en-US.lproj/index.html?page=pages/Advanced/dataMerge.html?title=Data merge indicates to use the Document window to open a data source. I don't recall which applications, nor exactly which menu items went to the wrong place. But perhaps that's what Clayton experienced?
