AmpedAndy
I just got a MacBook, so I can continue projects while on the road. Do I have to buy a second copy of designer & photo for that computer, or is there a way I can duplicate it onto my new laptop? JFisher
Hi AmpedAndyYou won't need to buy it twice, just log into the App Store account used to purchase the app and visit the 'Purchased' section to redownload :)J
AmpedAndy
Welllll, not so much. Trouble is that it doesn't show up in my past purchased apps in the app store on my Macbook. I've slogged through every Apple help info I can find on this info, and have not gotten anywhere. Any suggestions? Staff MEB Posted February 11, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 11, 2016 Hi AmpedAndy, Make sure you have signed in with the same Apple ID used to buy Affinity Designer/Photo in your home/desktop Mac. If you're are not using the same ID they will not appear in the purchased tab. Out of curiosity, do you have switched your Apple ID account country setting? markw
Hello AmpedAndy,Now I only have the one Mac product i.e. my laptop so I don’t know if the following is relevant or not…I notice In System Preferences under the App Store tab there is a check box you can select to enable; ‘Automatically download apps purchased on other Macs’Dose this need to be ticked first? Staff MEB Posted February 11, 2016 Staff Share Posted February 11, 2016 That setting will download all new purchased apps to the new computer no matter which computer you use to buy them, but will not download previous purchases.
