What was the separator before you tried to change it and what did you try to change it to? When did it crash? Did it crash when you typed the character, chose it from the menu, pasted it in, pressed return, or something else? Can you try it with a blank document? Draw 2 text frames and in the second type a paragraph in heading 1 and another paragraph in heading 2. Insert a TOC into the first frame. Now try changing the separator in the same way as you did before. Any difference? I ask all this because I've been using the TOC without issues on Ventura and haven't experienced any crashes. I tried changing the separator just now and couldn't trigger a crash. This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
