I'm trying to open a PSD file I made last month in photopea, in Affinity Design. But, it's telling me "This file type is not supported". What do I need to change? I linked the error image and the file I'm trying to open. Photopea is too slow with the amount of vector assets in it to keep editing it in that program. I know smart objects usually open as embedded layers so that shouldn't(?) be an issue, right? I'm unsure. I have the "open smart objects when possible" setting checked too.

Thank you! :)

How is that a solution to opening PSD files? You will do that all of the time? Please tell me this thing is not total shit. Because if I can't just open a PSD then it is shit!

Are your PSD files also created by PhotoPea?

If so, what options did you choose while saving them, and what other options does PhotoPea provide?
