How about a separate astro section for the AP forum?

Hi folks,

I wonder if a separate forum for AP astrophotography would be possible. I know astro must be a very small part of the AP business but it seems to me it should be easy to set up. I have thought of establishing a Facebook group myself, but I know so little that I would not feel comfortable as an administrator. AP is rather special having both the astro stacking and the editing. JR has given us to many good macros and tutorials. How about "Astrophotography Processing with Affinity Photo" as a title? 

I would be glad to hear your opinions.

To be honest I think it would be better to start a forum/group elsewhere, rather than being a part of this forum. The problem I foresee is that as soon as there is one special interest, spinoff section here, lots of other people will want the same for their particular interest, which could make the forum(s) quite messy and difficult to navigate.

Are you wanting this to

• discuss techniques and issues with using Affinity Photo? In that case, just make sure to put AstroPhotography in your topic title and others who are interested will join in.
• Or to display your work? In that case, Share Your Work should work. Again, putting AstroPhotography in the topic title will help others find your work.
• Or for something else?
