Color pick pixel brush

Hi, I have a problem with affinité designer 2 for iPad. When I want to had texture to a raster drawing and switch to pixel mode, the color pick doesn’t work well. I select a color already in the design and when I paint it’s not the same. A little like if I painted with RGB on CMYK colors. I never had the problem with the oldest version so I have to switch back to it.

In the file attached, the spot on the left si supposed to be the same color as the rest of the arm but it’s not…

what can I do?

thanks

This is currently a know issue, hopefully solved in the next update.

The color picker is ok, the issue lies on brush tool with cmyk color format.

Update: the linked bug reports seems to fixed in 2.0.3.321, so we have a different issue.

please check that you have the latest version.

What settings are you using on the colour picker?

The issue seems to be partially resolved in 2.0.3.

we still have the issue that conversion between CMYK and RGB colors: if you sample a color from e.g. a rectangular shape (cmyk), while color studio shows RGB. It shows the correct color and some RGB values. But is you manually re-enter those RGB values, you get a different CMYK color.

This happens for all colors where CMY channels are all non-zero, this gets normalized into K channel, and seems to break color format conversions.

I can’t say if this issue affecting your document. We would need the actual afdesign file upload, and then open in Photo on Desktop (because we need channels panel and info panel to really see how the color values are stored / rendered)
